Waving the wand to flip the lights on feels genuinely magical every single time, and my nephews now fight over who gets to do it. The motion sensor is responsive enough that even a lazy flick works.

I didn't expect a book nook kit to include a wand, but waving it to switch the lights on feels way more fun than fumbling for a button in the dark. The wand itself is nicely finished and has a good weight in the hand, not flimsy at all.

I honestly didn't expect the wand to feel this solid in my hand — the finish makes it look like a real prop, not a cheap add-on. Waving it to switch the nook lights on and off still gets me every time, and my kids fight over who gets to do it.
