Hands Craft | ハイドロプレーン

The wood pieces fit together so snugly that I didn’t even need glue for most of the hull, and painting the finished hydroplane was honestly the best part of my afternoon. Watching it take shape from flat boards to a little boat you can actually display is so satisfying.

The paint included covers well and dries fast, so my hydroplane looked finished in one afternoon. My kid and I had a blast snapping the hull together and then deciding on the color scheme, it’s a neat twist on a standard puzzle kit.

Took my time painting the hull a glossy red before snapping the pieces together, and the fit was so precise the panels stayed secure while I worked. The finished hydroplane looks sharp on my desk, and the paint really makes the details pop.
