The tiny papel picado banners strung across the alley are cut so cleanly I had to check they weren't real paper. Assembly took me a couple evenings, mostly because I kept stopping to admire the painted skull details on the little shrine. It sits between my history books now and glows like a tiny fes

The little marigold garlands and papel picado banners are so detailed that I keep noticing new things every time I look at it. Slotting it between my old paperbacks turned a dull shelf into a tiny glowing alleyway. Took me two evenings to assemble and I enjoyed every minute.

I've built a few book nooks before and this one has the most detail by far — the tiny marigold petals and lit shrine at the end of the alley actually glow. Took me a couple evenings to assemble, and every step was worth it.
