My nephew and I finished this sheep in one rainy afternoon, and the punch-out pieces fit together so snugly that we didn't need any glue or tools. He's seven, so I did most of the tricky parts, but he proudly helped sort the wooden bits and snapped in the easy ones himself.
My son and I put this sheep together in one quiet afternoon and the punch-out pieces came out clean with zero need for glue or tools. It was the perfect excuse to sit down together, and the finished little wooden sheep is now happily sitting on his shelf.
The pieces punched out cleanly with no tools needed, which made assembly smooth even for my clumsy hands. Took us about an hour with my daughter, and the finished sheep looks nice on her shelf. Only wish the instructions were a bit clearer on a couple of the trickier joints.
