My son and I sat down after dinner to build this together and it kept us both engaged for a good hour. The pieces fit snugly without any glue, and it’s genuinely satisfying to see the triceratops take shape from just a flat sheet.
My 8-year-old and I put this triceratops together in one rainy afternoon and honestly the punch-out pieces fit so snugly we didn't need any glue at all. It's a nice way to actually talk while your hands are busy, and the finished dinosaur looks solid enough for him to play with.
The pieces punch out cleanly without any tools, which saved me a ton of frustration compared to other kits I've tried. Took us about an hour spread over two evenings, and my daughter kept asking when we could start the next one.
