I’m usually hopeless at anything crafty, but the pieces fit together so snugly that I had the trolley standing in one relaxed afternoon. Mixing the paints and adding my own little details to the wooden body was genuinely the most fun I’ve had with a kit in ages.
Spent a rainy Sunday putting this together and the vintage details on the trolley body are surprisingly crisp for a kit this size. The paint step really brings the wood to life, and the pieces fit snugly enough that I didn't need glue anywhere.
The painting step is where this kit really shines—the wood takes acrylics beautifully and my trolley now has a bright candy-red body with gold trim. Building it took a pleasant Sunday afternoon, and the vintage design looks surprisingly charming on my shelf.
