The neon skyscrapers look amazing once the LED strips are in, way better than I expected from a kit. Took me two evenings to assemble and the pieces fit together cleanly without much sanding. My only note is the wires are a bit fiddly to hide, but the finished city is worth it.
The dust cover is a thoughtful touch — keeps the tiny skyscrapers from getting fuzzy between builds. Snapping the pieces together took a couple evenings, and now the neon skyline glows on my shelf.
The little neon signs actually light up and make the whole alley glow at night, which I didn't expect from a kit this size. The dust cover is a nice touch too since I keep it on my desk where it collects cat hair. Wiring the tiny LEDs was fiddly but totally worth it.
