I built this over two evenings and the tiny books actually slide onto the shelves, which I didn't expect from the photos. Stacking the little sections together was weirdly calming, and it's now sitting on my desk where I keep glancing at it. Fun kit if you like fiddly, detailed builds.

The little wooden bookshop shelves actually stack and lock together, so it stays solid once it's built. Took me about two evenings to assemble and I kept noticing new tiny details on the storefront. It's sitting on my desk now and I keep picking it up just to look at it.

The little bookshelf shelves fit together snugly, though I did have to wiggle a couple of the tiny books into place. It looks charming on my desk next to the lamp, and the stacked design means it doesn't take up much room. For the price, a decent little weekend project.
